Lior Agam
Volunteer Consultant
Lior graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007, where he majored in finance and minored in classical studies. From 2007-2008, Lior worked as an analyst in the Leveraged Finance group at Bear Stearns in New York. In 2008, Lior joined PetroTiger, a firm focused on private equity and management primarily in the infrastructure and energy spaces in Colombia. Originally from Los Angeles, Lior currently resides in Bogotá, Colombia

 


 



Ross Barker

Ross Barker is a market research consultant with more than 10 years of experience working with a range of technology companies, helping them to better understand their customers and markets. Prior to his research career, Ross taught in public schools for several years and continues to have a strong interest in building communities through improved educational opportunities. Ross has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley, and an MBA from Northwestern University. Originally from Southern California, Ross currently lives in Portland, Oregon.

Robby Berthume
Volunteer Consultant
Robby Berthume is the Founder/CEO of Epsilon Concepts, a web development company based in downtown Los Angeles. He is also CEO and Co-Editor of the Los Angeles Digital Directory. Robby is also in the process of launching 2 social network / directory / search engine platforms around divorce and outsourcing in late 2009. Robby was also selected as a “Top 20 Entrepreneur in Their 20s” by the Los Angeles Business Journal in 2009. He holds a Bachelor’s in Marketing and spends his free time blogging, traveling, playing basketball and reading. Robby currently lives in Los Angeles.

Katherine Brooks
Volunteer Consultant
Katherine graduated from Stanford in 2007, where she studied Molecular Biology and Economics. From 2007-2009, she worked as an Analyst in Goldman Sachs’ Healthcare Investment Banking group in San Francisco. In 2009, she joined TPG Capital as Associate. She is originally from Dallas, Texas and currently lives in San Francisco.


 

Scott Gaffield
Volunteer Consultant
Scott is an associate in the Corporate group at the Los Angeles office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. His practice focuses on corporate finance and investment management, and he also has significant experience working with small businesses on basic legal issues in a workshop setting. Scott graduated from the UCLA School of Law in 2008 with a specialization in Business Law. Prior to law school he graduated with a BA in History from Yale University, where he was a four-year letterwinner on the varsity men’s basketball team. Scott currently lives in Los Angeles.


 

Daniel Hakimi
Founder & President
Daniel helps manage the daily operations for a CyberNet Communications, a Southern California based telecommunications company. Previously, he was an investment banker at Goldman, Sachs & Co. focusing on mergers & acquisitions in addition to raising capital for healthcare companies. He has worked in Goldman Sachs’ Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York offices. Daniel graduated from the Marshall School of Business at the University Of Southern California.


 

Karoon Monfared

Karoon is currently a management consultant at McKinsey & Company based in their Los Angeles office. He graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Biochemistry. While at UCLA he was a member of the UCLA Mocktrial team that won back to back national championships. Karoon is originally from Saratoga, California and currently lives in Los Angeles.

Q Montazeri is currently an investment banker at Goldman, Sachs & Co. He has a B.A. from UC Berkeley and a J.D. from UCLA School of Law.


 

David Peyman
Volunteer Consultant
David is currently an attorney with Skadden, Arps’ Los Angeles office specializing in Litigation. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School where he was Associate Editor, International Law Journal. Prior to that he had spent time as Assistant to Secretary of Cabinet in the Clinton White House. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of California Los Angeles, where received a B.A. and was granted the Chancellor’s Award.


 

James Pollard

James is currently an Associate in the Entertainment Industries Group at J.P. Morgan. Previously, James worked in the Acquisitions group at Colony Capital, a real estate private equity fund manager that has invested $45 billion since 1991. Prior to his role at Colony, James worked as an investment banker at Bear Stearns focusing on mergers and acquisitions. James graduated from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California where he studied finance and entrepreneurship and currently lives in Los Angeles.


 

Siddharth Ramakrishnan
Business Affairs Associate
Siddharth is currently an investment banker at Morgan Stanley in San Francisco. Siddharth attended the University of Southern California, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business. At USC, he was actively involved with Los Angeles Community Impact (LACI), a student-run, pro bono consultancy working with non-profits and small businesses in the Los Angeles region.

David is an entrepreneur who founded a marketing firm that works closely with many non-traditional entrepreneurs. He graduated from the University Of Southern California and is currently enrolled as a student in Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
